Commercial Metal Polishing was founded by Diane & Herb Schmoyer back in 1973 starting out in a 300 square foot garage. They moved to a 10,000 square foot facility in 1991, which became too small. In 1999 they purchased the company’s current 16,000 square foot facility. It is sitting on two acres of land in Bath, Pennsylvania.

Although, Herb is still actively involved in the business, Diane has been the president and CFO since 1993. Herb serves as the company’s vice president of sales. Matt Seymour serves as vice president and chief operating officer, overseeing all plant operations.

Commercial Metal Polishing can handle a wide range of pipe, round bar, tube, square tube, square bar, flat bar, channel, angle, i-beam, plate and sheet, extrusions, die castings, sand castings, machined parts, stamping, and fabricated parts in stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze and titanium.
